Privacy policy
The short version: the numbers you type into the calculator never leave your device, and we collect as little else as we can get away with.

Calculator data
Your age, height, weight, sex, activity level and body fat percentage are processed entirely in your browser by JavaScript running on your own device. They are never transmitted to us, never written to a server, never logged, and never stored. Closing or refreshing the page discards them. We could not retrieve them if we wanted to, and we do not want to.
What we do collect
Analytics
TDEENet currently runs no analytics software at all. We do not measure visits, we do not build audience profiles, and no third-party measurement script loads on any page. If we add analytics later we will choose a tool that sets no cookies and collects no personal data, and this section will be updated to name it before it goes live.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request logs: IP address, timestamp, page requested, referring page and user agent. These are generated by the web server rather than by us, are used only for security and troubleshooting, and are kept for 30 days before being overwritten.
If you email us, we keep the message and your address for as long as needed to deal with it, and to keep a record if it was a correction. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Cookies
TDEENet sets no cookies. None for analytics, none for advertising, none for preferences. That is why you have not been shown a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to. If cookies are ever introduced, they will be listed here individually with their purpose and lifetime, and a consent banner will appear wherever the law requires one.
Legal basis and your rights
Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis is legitimate interest for security logging and consent for analytics and advertising cookies. You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents have comparable rights, including the right to know and the right to delete. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@tdeenet.com. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children and the calculator does not produce results for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Third parties
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That means your browser requests those font files from Google's servers, and in doing so Google receives your IP address and basic request information. This is the only third party your browser contacts while loading a page here. Outbound links to PubMed and other sites are governed by those sites' own policies once you follow them.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new date at the top of the page. The current version took effect on 10 August 2026.

TDEENet is operated by the TDEENet team, who act as data controller for the limited processing described above. The fastest way to reach us on any privacy matter, including a request to access or erase data, is privacy@tdeenet.com. If you need our postal details for a formal request or a regulatory filing, email us and we will provide them.
