Corrections get priority. If something on this site is wrong, we would rather hear it from you than leave it up.

What to write about

A factual correction

If a claim is wrong, out of date, or missing important context, tell us which page and, if you have one, which source says otherwise. Corrections to health content are handled first and usually within a few days.

A bug in the calculator

Include the values you entered, what the calculator showed, what you expected, and your browser. That is usually enough to reproduce it.

Something else

Press enquiries, permission to reference our content, or partnership proposals are all welcome. We do not publish guest posts and we do not sell links, so please save yourself the email on those two.

What we cannot do

We cannot give personal nutrition or medical advice. That includes reviewing your diet, telling you what to eat, or interpreting your results in the context of a health condition. Those questions need someone who can see your history and ask follow-up questions, which means a doctor or a registered dietitian.

If food, weight or eating has become distressing to think about, please talk to a healthcare professional. National eating disorder helplines exist in most countries and they are worth calling early rather than late.
